Dallas, Texas High Rise Views You Can Almost Touch
During most interior photography sessions, it’s the daylight I’m waiting for—either to show up in a pleasing way or to move past the space I’m shooting, taking those distracting streaks of light with it.
But at my session with Karen Dismore Interiors , I got to wait for the dusk lighting for the first time. Rarely do you shoot interior photography at night unless a killer view like this is what you’re capturing.
And man—the Dallas, Texas skyline did not disappoint. From the blue-purple skies to the orange ombre sunset reflecting on the iconic buildings, we got super lucky. The Dallas skyline looked this way for a whole 10 minutes maybe, because when the sun sets, it goes fast.
I’ve seen plenty of city skylines from a highrise vantage point, but this one was so close. And seeing it from a residential space through floor-to-celiing windows was just breathtaking. My only regret was not lining up childcare long enough to sit with a glass of wine after the session!
And let’s talk about this Reunion Tower view with the Bank of America Plaza and Omni Hotel to boot. I wouldn’t mind hopping in bed to this in the background.
Reunion Tower was flashing all kinds of colorful lights that night, and I took several versions home with me for editing. Of course I chose the tower lit in shades of purple playing off the sunset sky.
Before the sun set, we snagged a shot with another Dallas iconic structure: the Margaret McDermott Bridge.
This condo didn’t skimp on the guest room views either. Nor the design! Karyn Dismore outdid herself in this luxurious black and white bedroom topped with emerald green accents.
These Dallas, Texas views were the main subject that day, but we shot several more areas in the condo:
